A Gridiron Goddess Administrative Note: Vacation

Just a heads up that I will be on vacation Oct 10-19th. I will get this weekend’s picks up before I go. The weekend of Oct 17-19 I will be skipping.
I will be out of the country, and marinating in rum, and back to full posting strength (Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat-Sun) when I return.
Oh, and by the way? The Loveable Losers? NOT SO FLIPPING LOVEABLE ANYMORE. I QUIT YOU CUBS. I QUIT YOU FOR GOOD.

After the “blink-and-you’ll-miss-us” performance in the last two post-seasons…and especially with the team they had this year, it has become obvious any decent Cub team is going to be crushed by the enormous pressure of trying to right 100 years of wrong. One thing is for sure – while there will be a Cubs team on the field next season no one will be impressed with any regular season heroics…not after the franchise’s latest debacle of a playoff effort.
