Dear LSU Fans: Please stop worrying about USC so much

LSU Alum James Carville is a sore winner.
I personally have heard nothing but Congrats (even when semi snarky) coming from my USC people in regards to LSU’s BCS National Championship victory.
Yet (some) LSU people are STILL whining.
YOU WON! We are not contesting that. So RELAX and enjoy your reign, cause once the season starts, it won’t be only USC looking to take next year’s title. Georgia right there in your own backyard will be hunting Tigers long before the BCS Championship Game is decided in January 2009. And look at it this way, USC and Ohio State face off in Los Angeles on September 13th, so at least one of us may be eliminated from title contention there.
And hey–LOOK at that– USC and Ohio State have the BALLS to schedule a home and home with each other. Who are LSU’s non conference games next year– Powerhouses North Texas and Troy. To be fair, the Tigers also have an open slot on September 13th. If you’d like to go a long way to ridding yourselves of that there inferiority complex you’ve got–Schedule a team that matters.
Anyway, it should go without saying that in no way am I implying that ALL LSU fans are whiny brats. Just the ones that are are doing it loudly. And looking foolish in the process. YOU WON! CONGRATULATIONS! ENJOY IT BAYOU BENGALS!

hey g.g., it’s all good. you know, i think a lot of lsu fans got so frustrated with all the whining about our team getting into the game that we couldn’t help but fire back with a couple of shots after our win. besides, we have a whole year to celebrate being champs. gotta pace yourself, right?!
Ah, yes, good point. I didn’t hear so much of the LSU shouldn’t be there out here as I did the Ohio State shouldn’t argument, so that didn’t occur to me. Resume the celebration! HEE HEE
Idk if you still update (this is an old post) but you sure called it. The whole season they were so focused on USC and whoops, there goes a loss to Georgia before the Championship.
